About the Job
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a reputable organization as a Resident Care Director (RCD). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the health and wellness of residents within our community. Your clinical expertise and leadership skills will enable you to drive resident-centered care, manage medication management programs, and lead quality assurance initiatives.
Job Description
The RCD serves as the nursing clinical leader for the community and is accountable for leading and managing the health and wellness of residents. This includes:
• Providing strategic leadership for resident care by managing, directing, and monitoring the nursing team;
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans that promote resident safety and well-being;
• Collaborating with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care services;
• Overseeing medication management programs to ensure resident safety;
• Leading quality assurance initiatives to identify risk and improve resident outcomes;
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
• A current state/provincial license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN);
• Minimum two years of RN experience, preferably in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments;
• At least one year of nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision;
• Certification in CPR and First Aid;
• Demonstrated knowledge of applied nursing practices, techniques, and methods in accordance with federal, state/provincial, and board of nursing requirements;
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours as needed for resident care/services;
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities, organize efficiently, and manage time effectively;
• Critical thinking, clinical judgment, and decision-making skills;
• Computer proficiency with electronic medical records, Microsoft Office suite, and ability to learn new applications;
Compensation Package
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, employee assistance program, paid time off, sick leave, and holiday pay. Additionally, we offer tuition reimbursement, daily pay, and non-discretionary bonuses based on performance.
