VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a correctional healthcare setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Quality Patient Care: Administer medications, monitor patients for reactions and side effects, record patients' medical information and vital signs, and monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' condition.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans, and modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
- Lead and Supervise: Direct or supervise less-skilled nursing or healthcare personnel, or supervise a particular unit, and prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
- Education and Training: Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, and childbirth, and develop health improvement programs.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, or supplies, and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained, and order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensure: Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Certification: Possesses an active CPR certification.
- Knowledge and Skills: Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice, and satisfactory completion of initial and annual clinical competencies to demonstrate aptitude as assigned by role.
- Experience: Acute care experience preferred.
- Competitive Compensation: 38-43 Hourly Wage.
