Caregiver 6am-2pm

Morada Abilene is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care/Medication Technician to provide exceptional care and support to our residents. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment, while also assisting with medication administration and other essential tasks.

• Caregiver Duties:
  • Provide hands-on care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, including skin, behavior, and alertness.
  • Respond promptly to resident call bells and security system alerts.
  • Assist with continence management and maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Prepare and serve meals, and assist with food tray collection.
  • Maintain resident rooms and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Medication Technician Duties:
  • Review and implement resident service plans, including medication administration.
  • Assist with medication passes, using the Six Rights of Medication Pass.
  • Document and report any medication-related issues or concerns.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information, including medication records.
  • Restock medication carts and maintain a clean and organized medication room.

• Certified Nurse's Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
