Freight Hauler

We're seeking a skilled Freight Hauler to join our team in Manassas, VA. As a key member of our delivery team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring timely and safe transportation of food products to our customers.

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer unit to deliver products to customers
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition
• Unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and place them in designated customer storage areas
• Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable

As a Freight Hauler at US Foods, you can expect a competitive salary of $33.00 per hour, plus potential for more on our component pay plan. Additionally, you may be eligible for up to $10,000 in retention bonuses for new hires. • A valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• A minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift)
• Ability to read and communicate in the English language
