Material Handler

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at Multi-Color Corporation MCC. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and understand job tickets and layouts to produce high-quality products.
• Understand and execute production schedules in an accurate and prompt manner to maximize throughput.
• Work closely with associates to coordinate workflow and ensure seamless production.
• Meet performance metrics and complete required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Safely operate material moving equipment and assist in maintaining equipment for optimal operation.
• Enter information into systems for job tracking and payroll.
• Dispose of waste materials into proper storage containers and mark and identify containers with required documentation.
• Comply with facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable.
• Interact and behave professionally, treating all associates respectfully and maintaining the company code of ethics.
• Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent training and experience.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklift experience.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch, reaching with arms and hands, talking, and hearing.
• This position requires frequent walking and occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Knowledge in inventory control and shipping/receiving activities is a plus.
