Job Overview:

This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and is responsible for overseeing all logistics and warehouse processes related to materials for our growing fiber communications company.

Responsibilities:
  • Main areas of focus: ordering, receiving, order picking, staging, yard management, and inventory control
  • Maintain accurate records of material usage and coordinate orders to ensure sufficient inventory levels
  • Manage and coordinate activities within the warehouse and yard, including scheduling appointments for inbound carriers and receiving and validating shipments
  • Coordinate yard to yard transfers, handle returned materials, and remove inventory from projects
  • Loading outbound shipments to contractors and associates

We're looking for a motivated individual with experience in maintaining a zero-loss warehouse/yard and proficient computer skills, especially in MS Excel. The selected candidate will demonstrate strong communication and planning skills to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the Warehouse operations.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required with prior communications/fiber optic materials experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a Warehouse Technician/Manager
  • Proven experience in maintaining a zero-loss warehouse/yard
  • Proficient computer skills with emphasis in MS Excel
  • Strong communication and planning skills to drive efficiency and effectiveness
