Job Summary:
As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at Saratoga Hospital, you will play a critical role in performing ultrasound examinations, including duplex sonography for venous examinations, under the direction of a Radiologist. Utilizing your independent judgment, you will render images to the Radiologist and participate in student teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ultrasound examinations, adhering to policies and procedures for the Medical Imaging department.
• Possess experience in abdominal, obstetrics and gynecology, small parts, and venous doppler ultrasound.
• Demonstrate knowledge of ultrasound equipment, including a range of transducers.
• Complete annual competencies and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound.
• ARDMS certification or eligibility, with BLS certification as required for Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
• Registration in at least one specialty area within the first year of employment.

Compensation:
Salary range: $60.51
Pay Grade: 36
Compensation may vary based on overall experience, qualifications, shift, and location.
