We are seeking an experienced nurse specialist to join our Respiratory and Oncology Unit. The ideal candidate will have expertise in caring for patients with complex conditions such as COPD, Interstitial Lung Disease, and Cystic Fibrosis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' psychological and physical needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique requirements
- Foster effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care is provided
- Supervise care delivered by LPNs and CNAs, promoting excellence in patient care
- Comply with hospital, regulatory, and professional standards, policies, and procedures
Essential Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in the relevant state
- Completion of a degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS-HCP certification or obtainable within 60 days of hire
