Apollo Mission Critical Engineering is seeking a skilled Data Center Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical systems in our data centers meet top performance and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct commissioning activities for mechanical systems, including HVAC, electrical supply systems, and control systems.
- Create and implement detailed commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists for Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5 systems.
- Review and evaluate design documents, submittals, and equipment specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, functional performance tests, and system verifications.
- Witness testing of all equipment during commissioning and validate sequence of operations.
- Work closely with project teams, including contractors, engineers, and data center operators.
- Diagnose and resolve system performance, reliability, and safety issues.
- Document results/findings and generate comprehensive commissioning reports.
- Provide support to data center staff on system operation and maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Proven experience in commissioning, designing, or constructing mechanical systems, especially in data centers or mission-critical environments.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical supply systems, and control systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
- Skilled in using commissioning software and tools, including MS Office Suite.
