Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Care Specialist

Seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in the beautiful close-knit community of Ironside Human Resources. As an Orthopedic/ Sports Medicine Team member, you will provide high-quality care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions and work closely with orthopedic surgeons to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $113,000-$139,000, based on experience and a 40-hour workweek. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans, as well as paid time off, continuing education opportunities, and a tuition reimbursement package up to $20,000.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams and medical history.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions.
- Prescribe medications, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret results.
- Assist in surgical procedures and provide pre- and post-operative care.
- Educate patients on treatment options, recovery plans, and injury prevention.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program, with certification in Orthopedics preferred.
- An active PA or NP license in the state of practice.
- Prior experience in orthopedics or related specialties preferred but not required.
