Position Overview:

The Merchandise Marketing Coordinator is tasked with collaborating with vendors to acquire samples or vendor images, preparing necessary documentation, and facilitating all product submission meetings for product pages and editorial content. This role necessitates regular communication with various teams and departments, including Buying, Planning, Marketing, Creative, Merchant Operations, and Site Merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the sample lifecycle by coordinating with vendors, tracking and receiving samples, maintaining accurate inventory, and managing sample returns after photo shoots.
  • Prepare product details for sample submissions, including features, benefits, and required product descriptions.
  • Create sample tags and label samples, ensuring each is identified with a product ID, vendor details, and sample ID for submissions to the Photography Team.
  • Collaborate with vendors to obtain jpeg images and other editorial assets for product pages.
  • Monitor warehouse discrepancies and Not on Site (NOS) products. Provide weekly NOS reports and daily check the Bug List report to address any issues and coordinate with partners as necessary.
  • Work alongside Merchant Teams to develop, manage, and maintain monthly trackers for new site products and monitor monthly item counts.
  • Partner with the Fashion Office, Marketing, and Merchant Teams to coordinate the collection of samples for both print and digital editorial initiatives and manage sample returns after photo shoots.
Qualifications:
  • We welcome candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • No prior experience is necessary.
  • Exhibit open and ongoing communication, valuing transparency and effectively presenting information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various functions and levels.
  • Possess creative, strategic, and technical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule based on departmental and company needs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is required.
