Job Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Nurse Residency Program at Wellstar Health System. As a new graduate nurse, you will have the opportunity to participate in a 12-month residency program designed to support your transition into professional practice. The program includes a comprehensive orientation, core nursing onboarding sessions, specialty onboarding sessions, and monthly Nurse Residency Program sessions. You will work closely with experienced nurses and educators to develop your clinical skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide patient-centered care to assigned patients in accordance with current Wellstar Standards of Care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews to ensure comprehensive care planning.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to promote safe and quality patient care.

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia or eligible for licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English language.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
