Requirements
  • Education: E.I.T. or P.E. track, preferred; BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in electrical design, with expertise in all aspects of building electrical design, including lighting, power distribution, communications, and fire alarm.
  • Skills: AutoCAD & Revit experience.
Responsibilities
  • Electrical Design: Function as an electrical engineer through all phases of the process, performing electrical design tasks and calculations for the electrical design aspects of buildings.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate project electrical requirements with clients and consultants, both in-house and outside.
  • Code Reviews: Perform code reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Drafting: Provide drafting tasks as needed.
  • Financial Management: Establish and maintain electrical fees and provide budgeting for assigned projects.
  • Team Collaboration: Work independently and as part of a multi-discipline team to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: $80,000-$100,000 negotiable based on experience, licensure, etc.
