Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care to patients in the home setting. As a Private Duty Nurse with Aveanna Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plan of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a compliant and timely manner
  • Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
  • Follow up with physician, client, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and/or changes in client condition
Qualifications
  • Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Must have reliable transportation
