About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Drive sales growth through effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and upselling/cross-selling opportunities
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including batteries, light bulbs, phone repairs, and key fob replacements
  • Operate technology-based Point of Sale system to complete sales transactions
  • Install large and small batteries in various devices
  • Disassemble/reassemble phones and tablets to complete repairs
  • Function as a team player, collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales and customer service goals
Requirements
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of store products
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Basic math skills
  • The ability to use a cash register
  • Strong level of professionalism at work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient when dealing with difficult customers
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
Work Environment

This position requires the associate to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle or touch; frequently talk, hear, and lift up to 50 pounds; and occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach above shoulders, and lift more than 50 pounds.

The position requires the associate to regularly use electrical cables, simple hand tools, a magnifying glass, spot welders, automotive and electronic testing equipment, as well as regular use of a phone, fax, computer, and printer/copier.

While performing the responsibilities of this position, the associate will occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, and the risk of electrical shock.

Protective clothing and/or equipment used in this position includes goggles, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.
