Incentives:
Eligible Full-Time RNs may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000.
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee or compact state RN license in good standing
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification to be obtained within 90 days
- 1-2 years of recent experience in an ICU setting is necessary
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and document nursing care plans
- Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures
- Conduct various patient tests and administer medications within the registered nurse's scope of practice
- Encourage patient independence by setting care goals and educating patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
- Utilize experience and judgment to achieve nursing goals
- Work three 12-hour shifts on varying days
