Warehouse Worker

As a Warehouse/Yard Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, receiving inventory shipments, and providing general labor support to other areas, including installation sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service
• Build loads for delivery
• Load and unload lumber and building supplies
• Operate forklift
• Keep management informed of delays or discrepancies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lumber yard
• Participate in occasional deliveries
• Support installation sales and other duties

Required Skills:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and present information effectively
• Apply common sense understanding and carry out simple instructions
• Work in a team atmosphere
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Pass pre-employment assessments
• Work in outdoor and indoor conditions, load and unload materials with or without accommodations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a high school diploma or comparable certification
• Hold a valid driver's license
• Be able to lift 80lbs
• Fork Truck certification is a plus, but not required
• Be able to work weekends, holidays, and special events
