We are seeking a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team of dedicated professionals.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in psychiatry and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and other medical professionals.
As a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a critical role in providing treatment for a wide range of psychiatric issues.
Responsibilities- Manage patient care in a medical setting
- Counsel individuals, couples, and families
- Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Perform crisis intervention and refer patients to other mental health professionals as needed
- Analyze patient data and evaluate relationships between different factors
- Build treatment plans based on patients' needs
- Use analytic skills to interpret data
- Help patients to make behavioral changes
- Virginia Licensed Clinical Social Worker License (Preferred)
- Virginia Licensed Professional Counselor License (Preferred)
- Substance Abuse Counseling Certification (Required)
