About the Role

Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits is seeking a highly skilled Distribution Driver Class A to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to clients across the state, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Operations: Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products to clients, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Logistics Coordination: Plan trip logistics, obtain necessary documents, and ensure cargo is secured properly.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including Department of Transportation logbook and driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR).
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Qualifications: 21 years or older, Department of Transportation (DOT) certified, and Commercial Driver's License required.
Working Conditions

The Distribution Driver Class A will work in a fast-paced environment, frequently sitting and operating a motor vehicle. Additional hours may be required during peak periods. The role requires regular lifting, pushing, carrying, or pulling of 56lbs, and may involve working at heights of 8 feet or greater.
