We are a leading provider of technology solutions for the public sector, and our Property and Recording division is growing rapidly. We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Appraisal Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary

The Residential Appraisal Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of residential data collectors and ensuring the quality and accuracy of property data reports. This role requires excellent analytical and spatial skills, as well as the ability to visualize floor plans and calculate square footage.

Responsibilities

• Finalize property values considering cost, income, and market approach.
• Analyze market, cost, and land models to identify patterns or anomalies.
• Prepare and present defense of values to appointed Boards.
• Inspect and gather images of properties to ensure accurate property characteristics.
• Collect and record detailed property and economic data.
• Oversee the training and development of residential data collectors.
• Perform quality assurance checks of completed property data reports.
• Manage schedules, payroll approval, and production reports.

Qualifications

• Three years or more experience as a residential review appraiser or certified property assessor.
• Practitioner - Tax Assessor or Appraiser.
• Excellent analytical ability.
• Spatial ability to read maps and locate a physical location.
• Ability to visualize floor plan footprints.
• Good math skills to calculate square footage and ratios.
• Working knowledge of a CAMA system.
• General PC skills, including MS Word and Excel.
