Job Summary:Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Locum Physician to provide coverage in a pediatrics unit specializing in neonatology. The ideal candidate will have a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and experience in a nursery Level II/III NICU setting.
Responsibilities:- Manage ventilation in pediatrics and newborn patients; noninvasive and invasive methods preferred
- Perform acute and chronic management for neonatal patients
- Conduct procedures such as intubation (ETT/NT), conscious and deep sedation, central line, and arterial line insertions
- Interpret Xrays and EKGs
- Engage in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures: lumbar punctures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, needle decompression, and exchange transfusions
- Attend and provide care during all Csections, with a focus on highrisk situations
- Newborn/neonatal acute and chronic management experience
- Exchange transfusion experience
- Umbilical arterial and umbilical venous catheter experience
This locum tenens opportunity is ideal for physicians who are comfortable in a nursery Level II/III NICU setting and have experience in managing acute volume/BP issues. The candidate should be ready to utilize tools like ECMO and nitric oxide.
