Opportunity Overview

MaineHealth is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Psychiatrist to join its expanding team in Rockland, Maine. This unique opportunity involves providing care to patients 18 years of age and older, from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide teaching to rural track psychiatry residents and Tufts University medical students
  • Lead a multidisciplinary outpatient team
  • Offer a negotiable mix of duties, including care of patients with SMI, addiction medicine, integrated, consultative care, or inpatient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School
  • Completion of internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training
  • Current and valid licensure as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine
  • Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or eligible for examination
  • Board Certified or board eligible in general psychiatry
  • Current DEA Registration Certificate
  • 3+ years experience inclusive residency and/or fellowship training
