Job Summary:

The Oxbow Hotel is seeking a skilled Night Auditor to join our Front Desk team. As a Night Auditor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk during evening hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front Desk Operations: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Night Audit Process: Conduct thorough night audits, ensuring accuracy and completeness of daily reports, and reconcile all transactions.
• Bank Management: Maintain a balanced bank, making changes and ringing in merchandise with precision, and reconciling all transactions at the close of each shift.
• Security and Safety: Conduct perimeter checks, ensuring all doors are locked, and monitor camera feeds to prevent unwanted visitors.
• Food Safety and Handling: Adhere to food safety standards when handling breakfast items for guests.
• Scheduling and Flexibility: Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be available to work a variety of shifts.
• Guest Interactions: Manage room bookings, handle guest check-ins and check-outs, and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Lost and Found: Handle lost and found items from guest rooms, coding, tracking, storing, and distributing them as needed.
• Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain a neat and tidy appearance in the hotel lobby, hallways, gallery, and front entrance, and perform light housekeeping and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Inventory Management: Restock gift shop and front desk items as needed, and follow up with the Front Desk Manager when items are low.

Requirements:

• Education: GED or High School diploma required.
• Experience: At least 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Skills: Computer proficiency, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
