Catheterization Laboratory Radiation Technologist Opportunity

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiation Technologist to support our client in Independence, MO.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Communicating and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Providing and coordinating patient care with other members of the healthcare team.
  • Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes.
  • Administering medications as ordered with accurate documentation.
  • Monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and post procedure according to unit requirements.
  • Sharing on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transporting patients as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One to three years experience as a Radiation Technologist preferred.
  • Certifications may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
