The Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact between the Company and clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the construction journey and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and monitor the Company's health and safety initiatives, ensuring all work sites adhere to safety regulations and identifying potential hazards through regular inspections.
- Conduct thorough investigations of any accidents and ensure timely reporting.
- Facilitate monthly safety discussions with trade partners based on daily inspections.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients during the construction phase, addressing any concerns and managing warranty follow-ups.
- Resolve client discrepancies by adjusting product selections, construction plans, and budgets in line with Company policies.
- Assess budget variances and make necessary adjustments.
- Monitor construction progress and validate adherence to project timelines.
- Determine project completion criteria before transitioning to subsequent construction phases.
- Evaluate product and design quality to ensure compliance with Minto's standards.
- Create work orders for additional tasks or modifications and negotiate costs with vendors.
- Ensure compliance with local and state building codes and regulations.
- Interpret blueprints and design specifications accurately.
- Manage and assess the performance of trade partners, making decisions regarding ongoing partnerships.
- Conduct daily quality assurance checks on the work performed by trade partners.
- Ensure appropriate scheduling and manage trade partner activities effectively.
- Collaborate with trade partners throughout the construction process and the warranty period to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Provide recommendations to management for improving customer experiences and construction workflows.
- Work with the management team to share insights and enhance project planning, including vendor performance feedback.
- Coordinate with sales teams to manage neighborhood activities and customer referrals.
- Assist in resolving conflicts related to daily construction operations.
- Authorize payments for materials and completed work, ensuring satisfaction with the outcomes.
- Estimate and approve material purchases.
- Manage project timelines to ensure timely and error-free home construction.
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred. A 10-hour OSHA certification is mandatory, while a 30-hour OSHA certification is advantageous.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in the residential construction sector is preferred, with at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in an Assistant Superintendent role.
