  • Educate Patients: Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Facilitate Referrals: Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as needed.
  • Maintain Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
  • Provide Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families during difficult times.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prefer 2 years of recent experience in a larger emergency department.
  • Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Skills: Experience with telemetry and strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to build rapport with patients and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Licensure: Valid state license (where applicable).
