Join Management & Training Corporation (MTC) as a Substance Abuse Counselor II at the Kyle Correctional Center Programs Unit in Kyle, Texas. Our team is dedicated to providing a safe and secure working environment while helping at-risk individuals receive the treatment necessary for success.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in planning and coordinating chemical dependency counseling programs.
- Provide comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine offender recovery needs and re-offense risk.
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans based on offender characteristics and needs.
- Deliver counseling and recovery skills training, including offender orientation, educational, and individual and process counseling groups.
- Maintain accurate records and submit reports as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of full-time experience in substance abuse treatment or education.
- Current valid license as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) or Certified Criminal Justice Professional (CCJP) certification.
- Valid driver's license in Texas with an acceptable driving record.
- Annual background checks and in-service training requirements.
