Responsibilities

The Director of Cardiovascular Lab will direct the activities of the Cardiovascular Laboratory Services. They will administer, plan, direct, and evaluate the activities of the Cardiovascular Laboratory employees to ensure quality patient care. The Director will develop goals, policies, and procedures and participate in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

To be successful as a Director of Cardiovascular Lab, you must have:

  • A current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse, preferred
  • A current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • A current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary
  • Five years of Coronary Care Nursing and/or the Cardiovascular Lab experience
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Proficiency in interpreting EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings
  • Operates Cardiovascular Laboratory equipment; pressure injectors, hemodynamic monitor, cardiac output computer
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), preferred

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
