Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in our production department. As a Production Associate, you will have the opportunity to work in different areas of the plant, operating equipment and contributing to the success of our team.
Responsibilities:- Clean, set up, operate, and monitor equipment on the production line.
- Perform cleanings during set down times and product changeovers.
- Load, unload, and move items as assigned.
- Sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units.
- Mark or place identifying labels on product loads, ensuring all finished product is coded properly.
- Record movement of stock in and out of work areas.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
- Monitor materials, products, and equipment at each step of the process and report irregularities to supervisor.
- Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees, and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict efficiency.
- Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format.
- Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Follow all required work safe practices, including wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
- Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and forklifts.

- The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit.
- The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
