Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Tech to join our team at UAB Medical West. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and processing laboratory specimens, ensuring accurate patient identification and maintaining high standards of laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and process laboratory specimens in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Properly identify patients and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide administrative support to laboratory staff, including filing, record maintenance, and responding to client/patient calls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the laboratory.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous phlebotomy and/or lab experience preferred.
