TEAM Vocational Services is dedicated to fostering a supportive and encouraging work atmosphere, enabling Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors (VRCs) to excel in their roles without distractions. We empower our team members with significant responsibility and autonomy while offering guidance and support as necessary.
Our VRCs deliver essential services to clients across Washington who have experienced work-related injuries or occupational illnesses. If you are passionate about facilitating positive transformations in clients' lives, we would like to connect with you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting meetings with individuals who have experienced work-related injuries or occupational diseases, alongside their employers, medical professionals, and legal representatives to assess employability.
- Supporting workers in return-to-work strategies and identifying community resources for job placement assistance.
- Occasionally assisting workers in obtaining retraining benefits.
- Monitoring the participation and progress of workers in retraining programs.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree is mandatory.
- CDMS or CRC credential with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a VRC working with LNI is required.
- Proficient keyboarding skills and experience with Microsoft Word.
- Capability to obtain an LNI provider number.
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills.
- Access to reliable transportation for work-related travel.
- Must reside in Washington State or within a reasonable commuting distance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MA/MS degree.
- Bilingual capabilities.
- Experience with Social Security, LTD, OWCP, and DBA claims.
Compensation: The estimated pay range is $30.00 to $55.00 per billable hour, influenced by factors such as education, credentials, and years of experience.
