Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in a school-based setting. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in supporting the behavioral service needs of students in the Morrisville School District.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school professionals to develop and implement behavioral plans for students.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and create behavior support plans (BSPs) to address student behavior.
- Work closely with staff to ensure the implementation of behavioral plans and provide training as needed.
- Collect and analyze data to inform behavioral plans and make data-driven decisions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and administrators, to ensure the success of students.
- Participate in quality assurance and peer-review processes to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
- Current, non-restricted certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- At least two years of verified BCBA experience providing behavioral consultative services to children with special needs.
- First-hand experience conducting FBAs and creating BSPs for students.
- Experience teaching and supporting functional communication and social skills.
- Compliance with additional state and district-specific requirements as needed.
- Five years of school-based experience as a BCBA.
- Experience working with students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral principles and theories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
