Job Opportunity

Aspen Medical is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in providing medical services to UN sponsored Kenyan Peacekeepers and US Government staff at a field hospital in Port Au Prince, Haiti.

This is a deployed, rotational contract with a 3-month on, 1-month off rotation cycle. The team will be based in a secure, purpose-built camp and hospital facility in Port au Prince, Haiti, and all service delivery requirements will be conducted within the confines of that facility.

Aspen Medical will provide a Level 2 Field Hospital with EMS, Pre-Hospital Care, Surgical, Diagnostic and Laboratory, and other ancillary services. All clinic service delivery services will be provided in accordance with US clinical standards and compliance measures.

Requirements
  • Citizenship: All Aspen Medical staff must be US citizens or Green Card holders. Sponsorship will not be available.
  • Education: Completion of a full-time training course of at least 24 months in duration (or the equivalent) in a post-high school diagnostic radiologic technology program, evidenced by a certificate or an associate degree, accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). A Bachelor of Science degree in Radiology, Radiologic Sciences, Radiologic Technology, Radiologic and Imaging or equivalent is preferred.
  • Certification: Current, valid certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Current, valid American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • License/Registration/Certificate: Current, valid, and unrestricted license, registration, or certificate from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
  • Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of recent, relevant, related experience (post-graduation).

This position will be a 1099 contractor, with a fixed daily rate while on rotation. You will not receive pay while off rotation.
