Abode Energy Management is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Residential Decarbonization Advisor for the Clean Heat Rhode Island program.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented professional to provide expert advice and guidance to residential customers considering the installation of heat pumps and other decarbonization solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in building science and energy efficiency, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide virtual consultations to residential customers to help them understand the capabilities and limitations of heat pump technology.
  • Stay current with recommended system design and installation standards for heat pumps.
  • Collaborate with the decarbonization team to develop and implement effective strategies for promoting heat pump adoption.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or at least 4+ years of relevant experience in building science and energy efficiency.
  • Strong technical expertise in residential building science and energy efficiency.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese, as well as English, is a plus.
