We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans to aid in the diagnosis of disease and injury.
Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters.
- Administer contrast media and/or medications as needed, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
- Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, reporting any abnormalities or concerns.
- Collaborate with radiologists to refine and update protocols as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety guidelines and protocols.
- Associate's degree or completion of a radiology certification program.
- ARRT-R certification and ARRT-CT certification within 12 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
