We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating irrigation systems to ensure the optimal growth and health of our golf course and grounds.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage and optimal plant growth.
- Conduct regular inventory of tools, equipment, and materials to ensure sufficient supplies are available and items are in usable condition.
- Complete requests for irrigation parts and supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Record water usage from pumps and wells to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Perform special golf course improvement projects, such as rebuilding bunkers and tees, or performing drainage installation.
- Maintain the appearance of fountains, planters, or other grounds features by cleaning, replacing, or making repairs.
- Operate tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles to transport equipment, supplies, and debris.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Less than 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
