Job Title: CT XR Technologist

Job Summary:

The CT XR Technologist will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and immobilization.
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as required.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and/or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure if required by law.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • ARRT Computed Tomography (CT)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in X-ray or CT.
  • Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
