Job Title: Licensed Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary team at Pain & Rehabilitative Consultants Medical Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to patients with chronic pain.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual, group, family, and milieu therapy sessions in our Chronic Pain Program
  • Perform psychological assessments for patients in our Chronic Pain Program and outpatient psychology services
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychotherapists, physical therapists, physicians, wellness instructors, nutritionists, and patient care coordinators
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with chronic pain
  • Provide behavioral interventions and facilitate process-oriented groups and groups on wellness, mindfulness, and chronic pain
  • Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests
  • Develop and provide in-service trainings to professional and support staff
  • Diagnose, classify, and report on patient behavior tendencies and develop effective treatment plans
Requirements:
  • Spanish speaking desirable but not required
  • Possession of a valid Psychologist license issued by the State of California
Skills:
  • Serves as a key member of the primary care team
  • Plans and implements effective treatment methods
  • Communicates effectively in both oral and written form
  • Conducts effective and appropriate individual and group psycho-education and psychotherapy
  • Trains others at various levels of expertise in the concepts and theories of the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness
  • Prepares and presents reports of both professional and administrative nature
  • Establishes and maintains effective work relationships with administrative staff and treatment team
