RN - Froedtert Hospital - Internal Medicine Sickle Cell Anemia Specialist

The Registered Nurse is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our Internal Medicine unit. As a skilled professional, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population, including those with Sickle Cell Anemia.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and managing IV lines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in Internal Medicine or a related field.
