Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a physical therapist
  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
  • Ability to administer treatment to patients as a licensed therapist in accordance with the treatment plan within established legal guidelines
  • Observation and evaluation of patient responses during treatment
  • Adherence to hospital safety rules and procedures
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned

  • Technical skills to grasp, push/pull, and move while assisting with procedures or operating departmental equipment
  • Cognitive demands to manage frequent interactions with the public and customers and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Sensory skills to have keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities
