Electrical Engineer Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Detroit, MI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical hardware systems for our clients in the defense industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical hardware systems for ground vehicle platforms
  • Integrate operational hardware, software platforms, and sub-systems into a larger test environment
  • Debug issues with existing code bases and ensure hardware team compliance with product and lab best practices
  • Support all travel as needed based on mission requirements
Requirements:
  • B.S. or greater in Electrical Engineering or other technical discipline
  • Relevant graduate degrees will be given preference
  • Previous experience as an Electronics Lead will be given preference
  • Previous experience in a Software-in-the-Loop or Hardware-in-the-loop lab will be given preference
  • Previous experience with Ground Vehicle Platform is preferred, but not required
Additional Requirements:
  • Candidate must be a U.S Citizen
  • Duty Station - Detroit Arsenal
  • This position requires the candidate meet requirements to obtain a final secret security clearance to access classified information
