Job Summary:

Command Companies is seeking a skilled Stacker Operator to join our Press Room department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the press operator and roll tender in daily printing operations, ensuring the correct load flags are being used, and maintaining a clean and organized production area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the press operator and roll tender in daily printing operations.
  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of the press.
  • Follow the production schedule for printing jobs.
  • Review job bags to obtain correct job information for the set up of the stacker(s).
  • Ensure the correct pallets are being used as well as the proper end boards for the size product being produced.
  • Properly identify outside binds and use the proper pallets.
  • Check signatures being produced for proper pagination and quality.
  • Continuously monitor job to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Fulfill skid logs and place back in job bag when complete.
  • Fulfill required information in the communication log book.

  • Must be reliable and consistently at work and on time.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Must have positive and effective communication with other team members.
  • Safety and Quality minded.
  • Should be able to work with minimal supervision and be an individual contributor.
