Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our CAR-T Warehouse Operations team at Bristol-Myers Squibb. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for managing material needs and requirements for CAR-T production, adhering to regulatory requirements and performing job functions within a team according to an assigned production shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inventory control, including cycle counts, material stocking, scrapping, and maintaining material condition requirements.
  • Manage material expiry, allocation, kitting, and maintain material condition requirements.
  • Quantify and maintain materials in production dispensary.
  • Perform apheresis receipt of incoming raw materials and prepare final product shipments for couriers.
  • Maintain timing according to the production schedule to ensure on-time logistics.
  • Record material handling data and information in a clear, concise format according to proper GDPs.
  • Work in a team-based, cross-functional environment to complete warehousing tasks required by shift schedule.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing or operations.
  • Basic mathematical skills and general understanding of cGMPs.
  • Technical writing capability and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Inventory control and/or management experience.
  • Background in biology, chemistry, medical, or clinical practices is a plus.
Working Conditions

The Material Handler will work in a cleanroom environment, wearing cleanroom garments and personal protective equipment (PPE). The role requires intermittent walking and sitting, with the ability to sit or stand for extended periods. The ability to lift up to pounds is also required.
