Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our Laboratory team at Mercy Fitzgerald, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in conducting diagnostic laboratory tests that are essential in detecting, analyzing, and treating various diseases and medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct laboratory tests using microscopes, chemicals, precision tools, analyzers, and computer equipment to provide accurate and reliable results.
  • Perform standard laboratory procedures consistently, providing high-quality patient care.
  • Work independently in assigned areas, including Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
  • Meet the training and/or experience requirements for certification as a Medical Technologist.
  • Possess or be eligible for Technologist certification (BB, C, CG, CT, H, HTL, MLS, M, MB) by ASCP.
