Job Description

Aureus Medical Group - Therapy is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team for a travel job in a Home Health setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a Home Health setting. As a travel Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes, including evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct home visits to assess patients' living environments and provide recommendations for modifications to promote safety and independence
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Alaska
  • Experience working in a Home Health setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
