Aircraft Fueler

Join Avflight as an Aircraft Fueler and be part of a dynamic team responsible for providing exceptional fueling services to our customers.

The Aircraft Fueler is responsible for fueling, de-icing, and providing other ground support services to aircraft. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Fuel and de-ice aircraft in accordance with company standards
• Direct the movement of aircraft and vehicular traffic on the ramp and in and about the shops and hangars of the Company's facilities
• Perform grounds keeping and janitorial maintenance duties, drive snow plow, and assist with snow removal as required
• Assist all aircraft crews and passengers by courteously providing services they may require
• Perform daily and monthly fuel truck safety inspections
• Maintain compliance with all FAA, Federal, State, Local, and Avflight safety policies and procedures

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 2 years related experience, Aviation experience a plus
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment
• Ability to push/pull/lift 70 lbs. for extended periods of time
• Must be available and willing to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts plus weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate basic computer skills with the ability to easily grasp the functionality and concepts of company software for paperwork and computer transactions

• Strong Attention to Detail and multi-tasking skills

Airport environment: Indoors and Outdoors. Extreme outdoor conditions where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
