Position OverviewWe are seeking a **Field Foreman** who is safety-conscious and passionate about clean air. This role involves overseeing the fabrication and installation of various industrial projects, including ventilation systems, structural steel, and sheet metal work.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and assist in the installation of dust collection systems, air units, fans, and ductwork.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and safety awareness.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
- Manage personnel and oversee industrial ventilation projects effectively.
- Utilize strong mathematical skills and understand trigonometric functions relevant to the trade.
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- AWS SMAW D1.1 3G, 4G weld certification and proficiency in GMAW (MIG) welding.
- A valid NCCCO Rigger and Signal Person certification.
- Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license with the necessary endorsements.
- Basic computer skills.
- The ability to wear a respirator and work in confined spaces as required.
- Experience operating forklifts, man lifts, and telehandlers.
- Documented training in supervisory skills.
- A current OSHA 10 or 30-hour card.
- The physical capability to lift 50-60 lbs consistently and perform repetitive motions.
