Job Summary

Metro Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Leasing Associate to join our team. As a Leasing Associate, you will be responsible for leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations of multi-family residential apartments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leasing and Sales: Ensure model apartments and target apartments are ready for show and maintain work areas, common areas, and office in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Lease Administration: Complete lease forms or agreements and collect rental deposits.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Market the property effectively by answering questions, conducting tours, and promoting community amenities.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Have a thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, and all community policies.
  • Outreach and Community Building: Keep updated informational material and distribute to local businesses, apartment locators, etc.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Regularly 'shop' competitive properties and remain knowledgeable of market conditions.
  • Resident Retention: Develop and maintain an ongoing resident retention program under the direction of the Community Manager.
  • File Management: Maintain all resident and property files.
  • Customer Service: Courteous and efficient handling of resident requests and complaints.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
Requirements
  • Experience: Property leasing, sales, and/or customer experience.
  • Results-Oriented: Ability to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent follow-up skills via email and phone.
  • Technical Skills: Yardi experience a plus, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Valid Driver's License: Required.
