Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication Engineer to join our team at EDKER INDUSTRIES INC.

This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.

As a Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication Engineer, you will be responsible for developing flat patterns for sheet metal parts using CAD software, creating machine programs for turret punch presses or a fiber laser to cut out parts, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Develop flat patterns for sheet metal parts using CAD software such as AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
• Create machine programs for turret punch presses or a fiber laser to cut out parts.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Learn and implement machine programming software.
• Assist with the setup and operation of turret punch presses and fiber laser machines.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks (required).
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and machinery.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
