Job Title: Substitute Nurse

We are seeking a caring and professional Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as a substitute nurse for our district.

Job Summary:

The Substitute Nurse will provide nursing services to students in a school setting, working under the supervision of the school nurse or other designated staff member.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to students with various health needs
  • Administer medications as prescribed by a physician
  • Monitor and report student health concerns to the school nurse or other designated staff member
  • Participate in health education and promotion activities
Requirements:
  • Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse licensure
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary:

$23.00 per hour for Registered Nurses, $16.00 per hour for Licensed Practical Nurses
